To get started, press the power button on the side of the Tablet S to power it up. You'll see a Sony logo and then soon after you'll be asked to select a language. Once you've done that, you'll have the option to join a Wi-Fi network. If you have one, select it from the list and enter the password, if applicable. Hit Connect to connect to the network.
Next, you'll be able to set the date and time if you'd like, then you'll be asked whether you want to enable Google's location service. This is optional, however, so if you're concerned about privacy, you can always disable this. Next, you'll be asked to set up a Google account. If you have one, you can enter your info here to sync your data.
Once the setup process is complete, your Tablet S will bring up the home page of Honeycomb. Swipe left or right to change pages. At the upper-left of the screen, you'll find a few one-touch shortcuts to things like Google Search, email, the browser and so on. The upper-right has buttons for quick links and apps, and also a + sign for adding apps to the screen. The lower-left has a few navigation buttons; there's a button to go back, a button to go home and a button to see open apps. The lower-right shows the time and date information, and a quick status of battery, Wi-Fi and so forth. If you tap this section, you can get more details.
