- This is where you prepare your state tax return if needed.

- In many cases, much of the data can be pulled from your Federal return.

- TurboTax will pull in all this information which means you don't have to start from scratch.

- Click Continue and they need more information. You also need to pick a state. Click Continue.

- It asks if you received any preprinted forms. Answer Yes or No.

- Provide your county of residence and city.

- TurboTax asks if you're a quadriplegic. Click Yes or No.

- When reminded to save, please do so.

- Asks if you're filing late. Answer (hopefully not) Yes or (hopefully) No.

- Asks if you want to file for extension. Respond with Do Extension or Skip Extension.

- Asks if this is an amended return. Answer Yes or No.

- Ready to Review? Click Continue.

- If errors are found, it will create a worksheet so you can find the errors.

- Keep in mind that options that appear are in relation to your responses so you may see different screens than those presented here.
