- Give out your cell number rather than your home number and make sure you're unlisted if you don't want any surprises.
- Don't give out a lot of detail about your current living situation. If you live alone, in a dark wooded area, with no neighbors for miles, don't tell that to a stranger you've just met online. This also falls under rule number one of not giving out your address.
