- When you want to check your Facebook privacy settings quickly, then just head over to Account and then Privacy Settings.

- You'll immediately see each section of your Facebook account with a clear mark of who has access to it.

- If you don't like what you see then select one of the Facebook defaults or click on Customize settings and select a setting for every aspect of your Facebook account.

- This will now be the custom setting that is available in the defaults.

- You can change it to different settings at any time by selecting one from the list and then clicking on Apply these Settings. Whatever one is checked is the current setting you have.

- Jump over to Applications and Websites to see what applications you're using where you may remove any applications, or simply turn them off until they are needed.
