The iPhone 3G is notoriously power-hungry. With all of the wireless connection options (wireless internet and Bluetooth specifically) and given the big, bright screen, you'll likely find yourself searching for a power outlet more often than you'd like. Here's how to charge and sync your iPhone, using either the included power adapter or using a USB port on your computer or laptop.

- In the top-right of the iPhone screen is the battery indicator.
- When your iPhone has 20 percent or less battery power, the battery indicator will turn red.
- When your iPhone reaches 20 percent followed by 10 percent charge, a low battery warning will appear on the screen.
- To charge and / or synchronize your iPhone with your computer, plug the charging cable into an available USB port on your computer as shown.
- To just charge your iPhone, use the included wall adapter.
