Windows System Restore is a feature that was added in Windows XP. Restore Points are created when you install or uninstall software, install devices, and so on. You can also create your own Restore Points, just in case you encounter a problem. In those times you can restore your computer to an earlier time when there wasn't a problem. Very handy.
