Show Notes

- Typing in a URL such as www.google.com will take you straight to the site.

- Once you've been using Firefox for a short while, the smart location bar will start suggesting websites you visit often as you type. For example, to get to Google's search page, simply hitting 'g' on your keyboard will suggest www.google.com.

- To the right of the smart location bar is a search box that allows you to conduct web searches without having to point your browser to the site you wish to search.

- Clicking on the small arrow beside in the search bar brings up a list of sites you can search.

- Clicking on Manage Search Engines... allows you to add or remove search sites.

- In the Manage Search Engines window, checking the box for Show search suggestions allows the search bar to give you search suggestions as you type in your query.

- The bookmarks toolbar appears directly below the smart location bar in the default installation. This bar affords one click access to your favorite and most oft visited sites.
