how to view the foursquare leaderboard

. This is where your score is tracked against other users. We'll also show you

how to change your ping settings

so that your friends can see where you are... or change individual settings so they can't.

Show Notes

- If you tap on the grid icon, you'll see what's called the Leaderboard under The stats.

- Here, it shows the stats of your check-ins.

- This list can be sorted by your friends or by your entire area. The list resets every Sunday night.

- At the previous page, it also gives you a link to foursquare.com and an option to give feedback or report bugs.

- Below that, there is an option to turn pings on. Pings are notifications of when your friends check-in somewhere.

- This option can be turned off either permanently or for the day.

- On a friend's screen, you can also tap Pings for the option to turn pings off for just that user.
