The Roku settings menu

The Roku's settings menu is where you go if you want to change your Roku's settings. Select Settings from the

Roku dashboard

to get there. If you want to change your network settings just select network. From here you can get a basic overview of your network connection and repeat the network setup if you wish. Likewise from display type you can change the resolution of your display. Audio mode lets you switch from stereo to 5.1 surround sound or back to stereo.

You can also go to sound effects to change the volume of your Roku device's sound effects. Screensaver allows you to change the settings of your Roku screensaver. You can change the screensaver type, the wait time and more.

Time settings

lets you change your time and time zone which you set during the initial setup.

Netflix settings allows you to set up your Netflix account if you haven't already, or even deactivate your

Netflix account

, or disable Netflix browsing. Player info will give you information about your Roku device, the Roku software and your network settings. You can also update the Roku software from here.

The last option is factory reset. This resets the Roku back to the condition it was in when it shipped. Although there is no hard drive on the Roku device, this option will remove all of your settings and channels. These channels will still be stored on your Roku account online.
