iMovie for the iPad is a great

app for editing videos

and is a steal at $4.99. With the cameras available on the new iPad 2, having iMovie makes it easy to shoot and edit videos on the fly.

Deadspace HD is a great game for the iPad that offers immersive gameplay and impressive graphics. At $9.89, it's not exactly cheap, but it's much less expensive than a new console game.

Angry Birds Rio plays on both the older iPad and the newer iPad 2, but the new processing power of the iPad 2 makes the game run even more smoothly. Add in the fact that the game has more levels to be released as time progresses and you've got some great replay value for $2.99.

QuickPix is a great app that will allow you to take photos in burst mode or even take a photo immediately when loading the app. You can also do everything else that you can with the Camera application, and QuickPix is only $0.99.

Last but not least is GarageBand for the iPad. This app allows you to create your own music using virtual instruments and share your pieces with others. For $4.99, it's a deal you shouldn't pass up.
