Challenge the idea that gadget freaks and geeks rarely venture outside. Trailguru makes it easy to track your walks, runs, bike rides and just about any other outdoor activity using the iPhone's on-board GPS. Upload your excursions to the Trailguru web site and monitor your progress.

- You can open your free account at Trailguru web site
- Download Trailguru from the Apple App Store.
- Tap on the icon and you'll see the main screen that contains all the information gathered while you exercise.
- Time, distance, speeds, elevation and more.
- At the bottom you can tap on Settings to determine if you want to use Imperial or Metric measure.
- You can also decide if you want to measure in MPH, minutes/miles or feet/seconds.
- After you've recorded a walk, for example, you can tap on Map to see a map of your excursion.
- You can also tap Post to post your walk to your personal page on the Trailguru site.
- On the Trailguru site, you can see all of your postings.
- Postings contain complete information about your activity.
- You can even click Play back to watch the exact route you took.
- Explore all the options of Trailguru for yourself.

Realized that I didn't mention a BlackBerry option. There are a few, but Map My Tracks is one that sticks in my mind.

Actually on the Android you can get CardioTrainer, which is also free. Lets you track walks, and lots more.

I love it! I only wish it were available for other mobile devices as well. Do you know of anything similar for Blackberry or Android?
