- If your iPhone is lost or stolen and you have Google Latitude installed, you may have a way to track down your phone.
- With Google Latitude installed, go into the application settings.
- From here, you can choose to share your location through Latitude or keep it private. There are also several other options you can play with.
- Now if you log onto your Google Latitude account from a computer, you can go to privacy and choose to show the location of your iPhone.
- This location updates automatically and shows you a history of where your phone has been since you turned on auto-detection.
- While this isn't foolproof, it's a good way to find out whether your iPhone is hiding in your couch cushions or back at the local pub.
