The Context Menu or right-click menu is a great way to complete some advanced tasks Windows or to access common shortcuts. You can rename files, change the sort or view mode of icons in Windows and much more. It's called the Context Menu because it changes depending on context: The menu will contain different entries depending on whether you click on an icon, the desktop, in a folder etc. Click your right mouse button and see what shows up!

Context, or right-click, menus give you options in the "context" that you're working in.
- If you right-click on an empty space in a folder it will give you options relevant to the folder's context, e.g. change its View and Sort options, or create a new file.
- Right-clicking on a file gives you options relevant to the file, like Rename, Delete, and Properties.
- You can use Cut, Copy, and Paste to create copies of files or move them elsewhere.
- You can select multiple files and then right-click on them to act on them simultaneously.
