It happens. You download a piece of software to try it out and it turns out, you don't really use it. Whether you use the software or not, it still takes up space on your computer and can slow things down. Remove software you're not using. It's easy! We'll show you how.

- Click Start, then on Settings, then click Control Panel.
- In Control Panel double-click on Add/Remove programs.
- One the window opens up you'll see a listing of the programs you have installed on your computer.
- Highlight the one you want to remove and click Remove.
- The program will begin to uninstall and may ask you for confirmation.
- When the uninstall is completed you'll notice that it is no longer visible in the program list.
- Close out of that dialog, close out of Control Panel and you're done.
- In Control Panel double-click on Add/Remove programs.
