- Now it's time to
defragment your drive
before doing the Windows 7 upgrade.- We've backed up, cleaned up, and defragmenting is the last thing we need to do.
- You can use the built-in Disk Defragmenter that comes with Vista.
- Click on Start and then on All Programs.
- Click on Accessories, then on System Tools and then on Disk Defragmenter.

- Once your hard disk is completely defragmented we're ready to begin our upgrade to Windows 7.
