- Watching movies on your iPad was always possible but now you can also transfer those movies to your television using AirPlay and AppleTV.

- First, make sure that your iPad and AppleTV are on the same network.

- Next, when you're playing the movie on your iPad, look for the AirPlay icon in the controls and select AppleTV.

- Once the video starts to play, you can use the iPad as a remote control and even run other programs on your iPad.

- AirPlay can also be used to stream music to various parts of the house either using AppleTV or AirPort Express.
