- A major complaint of the original iPad was its inability to print. With iOS 4.2 that problem has been fixed somewhat.
- There are certain limitations to the new print feature like the fact that it won't work with just any print and can only be used in certain apps.
- In this episode we demonstrate using the HP PhotoSmart C310 and print using Safari and Pages.
- Ensure that your iPad and your printer are on the same network. From Safari you'll need to select Print from the Share menu, while from Pages you'll need to click on Tools then Print.
- There is a way to print to other devices using an application called AirPrint Activator but this app hasn't been approved by Apple so use at your own risk.
