- If you often use Gmail from unsecured wireless networks, you may want to boost your protection.

- Gmail offers the ability to use https which imposes 128-bit encryption.

- Click on Settings and then scroll down.

- At the very bottom under Browser connection check Always use https.

- Click Save Changes.

- Now your

Gmail will be more secure

and especially when you access in public.
