Using Evernote's clipper function

Sure you can type data into Evernote. You can put in photos and graphics and lots more. But by putting the "

clipper

" in your browser you can

grab clips and put them in Evernote

while you browse without ever leaving the Web page you're on.

- Open your browser and go to the Evernote site.

- Click on the What is Evernote? tab.

- Scroll down the page and locate the

Web Clipper

and click on that.

- On the next page click on the green Clip to Evernote button, hold down
the left mouse button and drag the button to your bookmark bar and let
go.

- In the Evernote desktop click on Tools and then Options. Then click on
the

Clipper

tab to set some basic options.

- While surfing the Web you can use the

Clipper to capture entire Web pages

, graphics, selected text and more and send it right to Evernote.

- When you clip an item a window will open you and can alter the title,
insert tags, and change the folder the item will go to. When you're
finished just click Done and that item goes to Evernote.
