- There are many good FTP clients, here are a few:
FTP Voyager
CoffeeCup Direct FTP
CuteFTP Professional
WS_FTP Professional
- In the FTP client of your choice, make a new connection to your web host.
- Give it a name, and put in the FTP information provided to you by your host.
- You'll want to log in using your host credentials and not anonymously.
- Your computer and associated files will be in one area and your web site host's server will be in another.
- In most cases you can drag and drop files from your PC to your host so they will transfer.
- When you've made improvements to your site and upload a file it will warn you that you're overwriting the existing file.
- If that's your intent, just say OK.
- You can can transfer many files to your Web host fairly rapidly.
