activate Priority Inbox

. This feature allows you to

train Gmail to filter your emails

and show you the most important emails first. We'll show you how to activate and

use Priority Inbox

in this tutorial.

Show Notes

- Priority Inbox for Gmail filters your email according to your preferences so you'll always see important emails first.

- While logged in to Gmail, click on Settings at the top. Now, click Priority Inbox.

- Enable this feature by clicking Show Priority Inbox and saving your changes.

- You'll now be able to train Priority Inbox to work the way you want. You'll see your email arranged in a different order, with important emails, starred emails and everything else.

- Select an email and you can click the + icon to indicate that it is more important or click - to indicate it is of low importance.

- Back in Settings under Priority Inbox, you can change a number of the settings like which inbox is your default.
