- To get Skype credits, just go to the Skype tab and select "Buy Skype Credit."

- Enter your billing name and address, then select your method of payment.

- Read through and agree to the terms of service, then click on Next. The last step is to enter in your payment details.

- This is for 10 dollars of Skype credit which is good for 180 days. If you haven't used your Skype credit and your 180 days is almost up, just make a call or send a text message using some of your Skype credit and it will renew for another 180 days.

- After you purchase Skype credit, you can buy what's called a

Skype In number

.

- Go back to the Skype tab and select Account, then select online number and buy an online number. This allows people who don't even have Skype to call you on your own Skype number.

- Select the country where you would like your online number to be from, then a state, an area code and finally, select your number. You can try entering in your own or choose from one of the available listed.

- Click on Activate Number.

- If you don't have enough Skype credits for a number, it's 18 dollars for three months and 60 dollars for one year and you can use your favored billing method instead of Skype credits.
