show notes
- You must have Android OS 2.1 to have this function.
- In any application that accepts text, like an SMS text application, tap in the text box.
- When the keyboard comes up, look to the left of the space key and you'll see a microphone.
- Tap the microphone and you'll be prompted to speak.
- Now start talking. You can even speak punctuation, like "comma" or "question mark."
- The
text will be inserted as you speak
and you can check it for accuracy.
- The system is not perfect, but if you speak clearly it will get most words right.
