In this tutorial we'll show you a way you can

export your friends' contact information

out of Facebook to either a .csv file or to Gmail. This process involves using a

Google Chrome Extension

called

Facebook Friend Exporter

but can be a handy way of fetching your friends' info and putting it into one

contact list

Show Notes

- Your friends have a lot of information that is stored in their Facebook account like their email address, websites, user names and other contact information.

- Using the Facebook Friend Exporter for Google Chrome, you can export all this information in either a .csv file or to your Gmail contact list.

- Install the Facebook Friend Exporter and log in to your Facebook account in the Chrome browser.

- From the Friends page you'll see a new button near the top that says Export friends! Click here to proceed.

- Read and agree to the terms of service and you'll see your friends list start to populate once you click let's start.

- You'll need to choose whether you want to create a .csv file or export to Gmail. If you choose Gmail you'll have to log in to Gmail and a new contact list will be created.

- Keep in mind that you can only export 60 friends' data per hour, so you may have to come back a number of times.
