Google AdWords interface

you can see how many impressions and clicks your ads are getting. However, to really

optimize your Google AdWords ads

, you'll need to dig into the

Google AdWords analytics data

in the reporting center. Dave Collins digs into this data to get a good idea of how his ads are performing.

- Sign into your Google Adwords account

- By clicking All online campaigns you can see all the information on your campaigns.

- If you click on a specific campaign you can see the specific information for each ad group within that campaign.

- You can drill down even further to specific ad groups.

- Click on the Reporting tab.

- Select Reports.

- Click create a new report.

- Select the report type you want.

- Once you've selected the type, you can choose the unit of time, date range, and if you want to see all campaigns or just specific ones.

- Under Advanced Settings you can personlize the reports to tailer them more to what you need.

- Under Templates, Scheduling and Email, you can you can name your report, save the report as a template.

- You can also schedule the report to run automatically.

- You can also have it sent to your e-mail address.

- Click on Create Report.

- Once the report is generated, click on the link for that report.

- You can export the report so you can share it as you need to.
