- To access your Kindle settings, just go to your menu and select Settings.
- You can access your registration. Usually, when a Kindle device is ordered from Amazon, it comes preregistered.
- Click deregister to deregister your Kindle, which is useful if you want to give it to someone else.
- Under Device Name, you can click edit to change the name of your device. Device Info is listed at the bottom but you can't change this.
- From Wi-Fi Settings you can change what network you connect to, which we showed you how to do in episode four of this series.
- You can click the menu button to get more options, like the ability to change the primary dictionary, restart your device or reset to factory defaults.
- Keep in mind that resetting to factory defaults will remove all files from your Kindle.
