Show Notes

- This is the first time that a BlackBerry has had a modern web browser capable of rendering most web sites.

- You'll find it on the homepage and it's called Browser, though it was originally called Torch after the company that created it.

- That company was later bought by RIM, who named the Torch after them.

- The Torch browser has multi-touch support to zoom in and out and allows you to use the trackpad to move the cursor around.

- The browser also has tab support so you can browse multiple pages simultaneously.

- To select text, hold the screen to bring up the context menu and select Select. Highlight your text and tap again to trigger the action menu where you'll find Copy.

- Links can be directly sent to contacts through a number of methods, including email, text message, social networking sites and more.

- You can also select Add Page to Home Screen, which will create an icon for that page on your home screen as if it were an application.
