Your keyboard probably has a Windows logo key sitting in the bottom row on either side of the spacebar. But what the heck do these keys actually do? Turns out, quite a lot! Learning a few quick Windows key shortcuts, you'll be a power-user in no time.

- Locate the Windows Logo key in the bottom row of your keyboard.
- Windows Logo Key: brings up the start menu.
- Windows and F1 keys: displays the Windows Help and Support center.
- Windows and D keys: Minimize or restore all windows on your screen.
- Windows and M keys: Minimize all visible windows
- Windows and M and Shift keys: Undo minimize all.
- Windows and E keys: Opens Windows Explorer
- Windows and R keys: Opens the Run dialog box.
- Windows and U keys: Open Utility Manager in XP or the Ease of Access Center in Vista.
- Windows and the Tab keys: Cycle through the taskbar buttons. If you hit enter while one is selected, that window will come to the forefront.
- Windows and F keys: Search for files.
- Windows and Pause/Break keys: Displays the System Properties dialog box.
- Windows and L keys: Locks the workstation.
