The BlackBerry Bold has a full-featured wireless networking capability. You can use it to connect to you wireless network at home or away. Wi-Fi profiles can be saved so you can quickly switch from one to another.

- On your BlackBerry Bold navigate to Settings and click the trackball.
- In Settings navigate to Options and click the trackball.
- In Options navigate to Wi-Fi Connections and click the trackball one more time.
- If you're connected to a wireless network it will be shown at the top of the screen under Active Wi-FI Connection:
- Wi-Fi Selection Mode can be Automatic or Manual. With the former, your BlackBerry will automatically associate itself with known Wi-Fi networks. With the latter, you'll need to prompt you device to connect.
- The BlackBerry Bold lets you save Wi-Fi Profiles. This allows you to quickly switch profiles as you change locations as well as store access codes and passwords for various Wi-Fi networks.
- Press the BlackBerry menu key and there are options to disable, delete and move settings.
- Under Wi-Fi Tools you get Wi-Fi Diagnostics, Site Survey, Ping, and DNS Lookup. These can be handy for people familiar with these terms who want to get more information on or troubleshoot a given network.
