By default, you can find a shortcut to the web browser in the shape of a globe on the dock of your HP TouchPad. Tap this and you will open the web browser. This browser is a fully-featured browser that also supports Flash, unlike many other tablet browsers out there.
Once in a new browser window, you'll be able to pinch to zoom in and out, swipe to quickly pan in different directions or tap to make selections. At the top of the browser, you'll see a bar for entering URLs or search terms. To the right of that, you'll see a button for sharing links or adding them to your bookmarks or launcher. Right of that, you'll see a button that allows you to open up a new page and right of that you'll see a button that lets you see your bookmarks.
If you have one of the new webOS phones from HP, you also have a way of sharing URLs with your smartphone called Touch-to-Share. Your phone will first have to be paired with the TouchPad via Bluetooth. Once that's done, you can easily share URLs with your phone by simply having the browser open on your TouchPad and touching your webOS phone to the home button of the tablet. If it's not open already, a web browser will open and you will be directed to the page that the tablet is on.
Touch-to-Share can be useful if you're going out with your phone but leaving your TouchPad behind. This allows you to bring information like maps with you easily. Currently, Touch-to-Share is somewhat limited but there may be more applications for this feature in the future.
