Show Notes

- Find the browser in the launcher under Web.

- The homescreen of the browser shows recent and favorite sites.

-

The Palm Pre's

browser is based on WebKit and so should work with the majority of web standards compliant sites.

- When browsing, the address bar is hidden. Scroll the screen down to access the address bar.

- Tap the bar to enter manual URL entry.

- Type either a full URL or a search term into the address bar.

- Use the gesture bar to navigate forward and back between pages.

- The

Palm Pre browser doesn't support Flash

.

- Tap the top-right menu to add a bookmark, open a page as a new card, share or add to launcher.

- The accelerometer in the Palm Pre allows for viewing in landscape mode. However, landscape mode makes text entry awkward.
