The term hack can often be misunderstood. In most cases to hack something is to

create a work-around

with it or MacGyver it to work the way you want it to. The same works when you use

hack as a computer term

. Hacking doesn't always mean to expertly

manipulate software

. Sometimes it just means to

tweak applications

to your liking.
