Show Notes

- URL stands for Uniform Resource Locator.

- Every web site has an IP address like, 72.14.207.99.

- But that IP address doesn't mean much to you unless I tell you it's the IP address for google.com.

- So a URL is an address that utilizes words to locate a specific site on the Internet.

- URLs are not case-sensitive you can type in WWW.BUTTERSCOTCH.COM and get to the same place.

- Not all URLs start with HTTP.

- Some start with HTTPS, FTP and more.
