- An ISP is a company that provides you with access to the Internet.

- You can search on "ISP" or "Internet service providers" to see a listing.

- You can search on "internet service providers in my area" to find ISPs near you.

- AT&T, Comcast, and Verizon are examples of companies that are, among other things, ISPs.

- Your ISP can provide you with settings for email.

- Your ISP can also answer connection-related questions.
