- Binary is a numbering system that only utilizes two numbers: 0 and 1.

- It's perfect for use in electronics and therefore, computers because it reflects things that only have two states.

- Two states, as in on or off, a basic switch.

- Morse Code also utilizes binary because it only uses Dot and Dash.
