The first step in making your online home on Windows Live is to
set up your online profile
. This is where you can share information about yourself with your network. You can also decide how much of your information you want to share with the Internet at large, how much you want to show friends in your network.Download this episode now

- Log in to Windows Live and you should be on your Home page.
- Click on
- Here you can add and control information about yourself and who can see it.
- You can change your name.
- Change your picture.
- You can

- Include information about your work.
- You determine who can see your information.
- Click on Everyone (public) and you'll be taken to an area where you can change this to just those people in your personal network.
- When you're done just click Save.
- The Profile is where you can fill out your online personality as it will appear to your Windows Live network.
