Show Notes

These days, more and more people are preferring laptops over desktops. Laptops allow you to move about the house and, when combined with a wireless printer, also let you print from anywhere you want. In the past, printers would be connected to computers via USB cables, but that is not the most convenient. With a printer like the HP Envy D410a, wireless printing is now possible.

When you buy a printer like the HP Envy D410a, it generally comes with an installation disk. This disk will usually contain product information, setup instructions and printer drivers. Running the setup application on the disk will both install the drivers and look for the printer on your home network. Alternatively, the software may tell you where to find your device's IP address and prompt you to enter that.

Once you go through this process, you should be able to find your newly installed device on any list of printers at the print screen. Now, you should be able to print files and documents from your laptop whenever you want so long as you are connected to the same network as your printer.
