Show Notes

- The BlackBerry OS 6.0 is a great upgrade to the BlackBerry OS, but isn't a complete rewrite.

- Some of the biggest changes are to the home screen and to touch screen support.

- You'll notice on the home screen is a strip of application icons. These can be moved around from one section or the other, and each section can be expanded.

- Tap the sound icon to select an audio profile. Tap the connections icon to connect to WiFi, Bluetooth, etc. Tap the magnifying glass to run a universal search, a new feature of this BlackBerry OS.

- The Application Manager is a new way to organize the applications that you have installed on your BlackBerry Torch. An easy way to get to it is by running a search for app and clicking options.

- You can pick an item and change permissions or delete it.

- The Options application has been improved greatly since OS 5.0 and is much more user-friendly.
