From a user perspective, one of the biggest improvements in Firefox 3 over previous versions of the browser is its download manager. Now, you can pause and resume downloads and even pick up downloads where you left off should a power outage or computer crash cut them off prematurely. Another welcome feature is the built in spell checker that catches comon mispellings... usually.

With a file downloading:

- Clicking on the X button will cancel your download.

- Clicking on the Pause button will suspend your download.

To zoom in or out on a page:

- Select View in the menu bar, hover over Zoom and select Zoom In or Zoom Out.

- The keyboard shortcut for zooming in or out is Ctrl and + or - in Windows or Cmnd and + or - on Mac.

- To reset the zoom level to default, go to View on the menu bar, select Zoom and then Reset or hit Ctrl and 0 or Cmnd and 0.

- You can also choose to zoom in our out on text only (leaving the images and other page elements intact) but selecting View on the menu bar then Zoom and Zoom Text Only.

Working with spell checker:

- Firefox includes a built-in spell checker.

- Misspelled words appear with a red underline. Right-click on a misspelled word to see spelling suggestions. Clicking on the correct spelling in this context menu will automatically change the misspelled word.
