Rather than having scraps of paper and hand-written index cards in a recipe box, Epicurious makes it easy to
save and organize recipes online
. Any notes you add to your recipes (like "half the sugar, bake for an additional five minutes, etc.) will be saved along with your recipe. You can also share this information with the Epicurious community.Download this episode now

- Adding recipes to your recipe box allows you to save recipes in your Epicurious account so that you can easily find them again later.
- When you see a recipe you want to add to your recipe box click on "save to recipe box."
- You can create folders to organize your recipes for things like appetizers, sauces, desserts and salads.
- To place a recipe into a folder, click on it and drag it into a folder or select the correct folder from the drop down menu on the recipe.
- On a recipe page, you can also add it to your shopping list where you can add more items, notes, and break your shopping list down by aisle in the grocery store.
